Summit Outdoor Sauna - 6 Person

A 6-seat thermowood kit at $7,999, $1,333 a seat and 13 percent under the all-model median, with a 6 kW heater and a 1-year warranty.

Summit costs $1,100 more than the Vista and gives you a bigger shell: 69.5 by 82 inches, 82.8 tall, about 40 square feet, against 36. That is 6.6 square feet per seat, still tight next to the 9.4 typical. It weighs 1,100 pounds, and the 6 kW heater is 1 kW per seat.

Price puts it $9 above the SaunaLife CL7G cube, $7,990 for six seats, which has a 5-year warranty and no heater rating. Summit has the heater but only 1 year of coverage. The Almost Heaven Seneca barrel costs $1,808 less with 8 kW and a lifetime warranty. Pick the Summit for the thermowood and the wider cross section, since the numbers do not favor it otherwise. No shape or porch is recorded. Redwood Outdoors is the only store.
