GL6 6-Person Outdoor Sauna Kit

A 6-seat thermowood kit with a porch at $12,790, which is $2,132 a seat and 39 percent above the all-model median.

GL6 is a square 90.2 by 90.2 inch kit, 92.5 inches tall and 2,200 pounds, with a porch and a 5-year warranty. Seats and warranty are stated; shape and heater power are not.

Six-seat alternatives cost far less. The Dundalk Georgian with porch is $8,563 and the Almost Heaven Seneca barrel $6,191. Against the SaunaLife G3 pod, also six seats, at $6,990, the GL6 costs $5,800 more, and the two have almost the same footprint, about 57 square feet, so the fields we track do not explain the gap. Look at the maker's description for a reason before paying it. Topture and Recovery for Athletes both list it at $12,790.
